Lukáš Klimpera has come a long way on his journey towards a healthy stride. He started his career as a programmer, but after years of intense work he burned out. That’s why he decided to devote himself to a field that has always enticed him.

Lukáš’s greatest inspiration was the teaching of his yoga Master, Vishwaguru Paramhans Svámí Mahéšvaránanda, at whose prompting he studied physiotherapy at Charles University, where he met Clara Lewitová. This prominent Czech physiotherapist inspired Lukáš with her vision of healthy and natural shoes.

After graduation, Lukáš worked at the LOGO clinic in Brno under the supervision of head physician Kateřina Moráňová. And it was here that he verified Clara Lewitová’s ideas in practice. His clients didn’t just need to exercise. After exercise they needed to put on shoes that don’t constrict them. And because there was still no brand of healthy and ethical shoes on the Czech market, he decided to create his own.

That’s how Ahinsa shoes were created. Handmade vegan shoes that respect the shape of your foot. During the first years they gained customers in the Czech Republic and abroad; today people throughout the world are wearing them. Ahinsa shoes are and will remain comfortable and ethical shoes that will walk millions of steps with you.

What my clients say about physiotherapy:

A painful bunion and a fruitless visit to another physiotherapist brought me to Lukáš Klimpera’s practice. The advice Lukáš gave me brought almost immediate relief and showed me the way to solve the problem. It isn’t easy, but it is possible, and every day it’s a little better.

Jana

I saw Mr Klimpera with my long-standing foot problems. Unlike other podiatrists, he uses a modern device for measuring the feet — not only while standing, but also while walking. He looked at my problem differently from the others and made a real effort to get rid of my difficulties. Now I exercise at home and I’m looking forward to the next visit.

Karolína

A visit to Lukáš’s practice was, for me, above all an education about my body, about finding the cause of my physical suffering, about allowing the body to develop its current movement possibilities so that it gradually reaches optimal function and, with that, a fluent return to health. All this with the empathetic approach of a physiotherapist who rejoices with you in every improvement and keeps creatively inventing new possibilities. Thank you so much!

Radana

My son (11) and I went to physiotherapy with Mr Klimpera because of flat feet and we were very happy. He examined my son thoroughly, explained everything beautifully, showed us and advised what needed to change and how to exercise at home. We’re trying to exercise diligently and in a few weeks we’re going for a check-up to see if we’re doing it right. I can warmly recommend Lukáš Klimpera.

Kateřina

I greatly appreciate the professional yet individual approach. Communication was smooth and clear the whole time. I see a real added value in the effort to take a truly comprehensive view of the problem and the sincere aim to solve it and help in the long term, not just to ease it for a moment. I’m happy to recommend him.
